Seven — the magic number

In most cultures, seven is considered the luckiest number. Seven days of the week, seven notes, seven colors of the rainbow, seven wonders of the world. Psychologist George Miller found that human short-term memory holds 7±2 objects.

Agent 007 is one of the most recognizable characters in cinema history. Ian Fleming created Bond in 1953, the first film was released in 1962. The digits '007' became the symbol of the spy genre.

The list was compiled by ancient Greek authors: the Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Colossus of Rhodes, Lighthouse of Alexandria, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus. Only the pyramid survives today.
