Error code 404 Not Found is the most famous error message in internet history. According to legend, it was named after room #404 at CERN where the first servers were kept. Hundreds of millions of 404 errors occur daily.

Area code 404 is one of the first North American telephone codes, assigned to Georgia state in 1947. Atlanta — birthplace of Martin Luther King, Gone with the Wind, and Coca-Cola — still uses this code.
