The year 3007 — a distant future where agent 007 is long legendary. 3007 = '007' with a millennium prepended. Or: if Bond is 40 today, in 3007 he turns 1040 — he'd manage.

At Thermopylae (480 BC), 300 Spartans held Xerxes' army for three days. 3007 contains 300 and 7 — three days of heroic defence.

3007 is prime — indivisible, in the form 'three thousand and seven'. The 7 at the end is a mystical point at the close of a three-thousand journey.
