Creation date by Ussher and first Intel CPU

Archbishop James Ussher in 1650 calculated from the Bible the date of creation: October 23, 4004 BC. This date was printed in official Bible editions for over 200 years and is still accepted by some Christians.

Intel 4004 (1971) — the first commercial microprocessor in history. The 4-bit chip contained 2,300 transistors on a 12 mm² area. Created by engineers Ted Hoff, Stan Mazor and Federico Faggin. It opened the era of personal computers.

4004 is a numeric palindrome. An interesting coincidence: Intel's first processor (4004) bears the same number as the biblical date of the beginning of creation (4004 BC) — the start of the 'digital universe' and the supposed start of the physical one.
